Minute Maid Park

Minute Maid Park

Minute Maid Park was the first stadium built by the Harris County - Houston Sports Authority. Home to the Houston Astros, the ballpark played host to both the MLB All-Star Game in 2004 and the first-ever MLB World Series in Texas in 2005. The opening of Houston's home for Major League Baseball in the spring of 2000 was a milestone in the history of the Harris County - Houston Sports Authority. It brought the Sports Authority's first project to completion and set a standard for the other stadium projects that have followed.
