The Harris County – Houston Sports Authority (HCHSA) was formed in 1997 to oversee the construction and bond debt service for Minute Maid Park, NRG Stadium (formerly Reliant Stadium) and Toyota Center. Today, 20 years later, the Sports Authority is a sports marketing arm for the city and county and has helped bring some of the biggest sporting events in the world to its venues.

Past and Present HCHSA Chairmen, including J. Kent Friedman, Jack Rains and Billy Burge, along with past and present CEO’s and board members will celebrate with city and county officials, team owners and other instrumental parties involved over the last 20 years of the Sports Authority’s existence.

Silent Auction and other items were for purchase to benefit the Harris County – Houston Sports Authority Foundation and its efforts to help Hurricane Harvey relief efforts.
